FOCUS GROUP

Work with focus group is a research technique for gathering data through group discussion on a specific topic. The focus group method includes a conversation of any subject, based on the common experiences of a small number of carefully selected people as a method of qualitative research.

Focus groups are typically 5-10 people to extend opinion in a face-to-face environment. The focus group should be limited enough to allow all participants to share their ideas easily, and large enough to ensure for group interaction and differences of experiences. Large groups can hinder discussions, while the very small groups can lead to a lack of ideas.

The focus group provides with in-depth quality information, and the discourse focuses on understanding of what is happening. Technological advances have made it possible to conduct online focus groups regardless of geographical distance.
